The AMOS-list is an mailing list about AMOS that was created in November 1992 and is still up and running.
Links
- archived AMOS-list posts on Aminet
The archives are reasonable complete except for:- messages from nov 1992-mar 1993 missing
- one message in 1993 seems to have been removed because it had a large attachment
- between 3 oct 1993-25 aug 1993 messages are missing
Initiatives
Some initiatives started from the AMOS-list like:
- The WHAT EVERYONE IS DOING IN AMOS List!
- Procedure Library (procedures contributed by AMOS-list members and collected by Andrew Church)
- CBATNAM (or "Cap'n Bubba and the Nasty Alien Menace").
A never finished initiative to make a multi-part game through collaboration. Five persons would each make a level based on a gametype and those levels would be combined to a single game.
